Susan Ruth Spencer, of Tunkhannock PA and daughter of William Hummel and Ruth Tomalis, went home to be with the Lord April 20, 2024. She was a loving, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and was a faithful servant in her various ministries at church. She adored her Sunday School kids and church family. She loved her family and friends and was a light to all who met her. Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Glen Spencer. Her son and daughter in law Justin and Lindsay Spencer. Daughter and son in law Kenny and Amanda Wilson and her 5 precious grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, Weston, Sadie Jane and Calloway.
- A home going celebration will be held at Vernon Baptist Church on May 4th, 2024 at 11am with a luncheon to follow. She asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Vernon Baptist Children’s Ministries and the Faith Baptist Children’s Orphanage in Devanahalli, India.
