Robert B. Guard, 64, of Milford, passed away Saturday, (July 13, 2024) in the Monroe County Hospice House, East Stroudsburg. He and his wife the former Melissa Quevy were married 36 years and together the past 44 years.
Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Donald P. and Deborah M. Hutchins Guard. He was a conveyor belt technician for 37 years and he was known as “Bob the belt guy”. He owned The Belt Guys Inc.
Surviving are a daughter Jessica L. Guard; a son Bruce R. Guard; sisters Helen R Guard, Trudy T. Guard; grandchildren Destinie L. Guard, Ricky Baldasarri, Tatyana Baldasarri, Spencer J. Salatti and Colton R. Salatti.
He was preceded in death by a sister Debra L. Slocum and brothers Donald P. Guard and Daniel A. Guard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to staff of the Monroe County Hospice House for granting Robert’s wishes.
A Celebration of life will be held August 10, 2024 from 2-6pm in the American Legion Post #139, 103 County Road 2001, Milford, PA 18337
