Rosemarie Olmo, 95, of Allentown peacefully passed away at home in Lower Macungie Twp. She is the widow of the late Gregory Olmo. The couple was married 38 years.
Born in Bronx, NY she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Sophie Maurer Schlegel.
Surviving are daughters Rosemarie Wilson, Ruby Wilson, Tracy Kinchen, Myrna Olmo-Rodriguez; a son Gene Olmo; a brother Xaver Schlegel; grandchildren Danielle Olmo-Esquerre, Karl Joshua Olmo and a nephew Albert Dyczek.
She was pre deceased by her son, Karl Olmo
Rosemarie was a loving wife, devoted mother and loyal friend, showing love to all she came in contact with. She was very hospitable and generous and was affectionately known for sharing coffee, cake and encouragement. But what she loved the most was teaching others about her great God Jehovah. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
At her request, there will be no memorial service.

The greatest expression of Jehovah’s goodness is the gift of the ransom. Without it where would we be. Jehovah’s promise to wipe away all tears and swallow up death forever is guaranteed. But even though our hope is strong, we are now in deep sorrow… as we know our heavenly Father also is. He loved Mommie more than we ever could. It brings me comfort to know that the very next sound she hears will be the sweet voice of our Lord Jesus… Rosemarie…. wake up.

Dearest Olmos
So sad to hear about someone so important in a lot lives. If she was still here we would insist that she be happy all the time and to be with family.. My greatest thought to remember is I have no doubt she died faithful and she has Jehovah God on her side because of her strong faith just like so many others that we know. We know your love for her continues because you believe in the resurrection. We hope to find the picture we have of her with another spiritual mentor. We have so many of them, there is no doubt that Jehovah God sent them the same way he sends his love every day. She is a great spiritual mentor and so are many other moms as well as my own. And also all of our spiritual brothers and sisters and their families.
