We will be holding a Celebration of Life in honor of Shannon on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Pavilion #2 in McDade Park. The address is 1 Bald Mountain Rd, Scranton, PA 18504. We would be honored to have you join us to share your memories and stories of Shannon.
Shannon Bukoski, the firecracker of Old Forge, PA, left this world far too soon on January 31, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on November 12, 1985, Shannon spent her life spreading joy, love, and a healthy dose of rock ‘n’ roll.
As a Quality Control Analyst by day and a free spirit by night, Shannon had a dynamic personality that drew people to her like a magnet. She loved butterflies and stargazer lillies. Her love for fun was contagious, and her smile could light up a room (just like her Mama’s)!
When she wasn’t working, Shannon could be found devouring books, carving up the slopes on her snowboard, strolling through the park, or headbanging at concerts. And, of course, belting out her favorite Guns N’ Roses tunes at the top of her lungs!
Shannon is survived by her loving family: her mother, Cyndi and stepfather Joe; brothers, Jason, Josh, Jeremy, and a sister Holly; nephew, Josh Jr; niece, Kandis; and her fiancé, Kevin. Her furry sidekick, Kaiya, will miss her snuggles and adventures.
As we say goodbye to this beautiful rock-star, we take comfort in the memories we shared with her. Shannon, your love, laughter, and spirit will never be forgotten. Rock on, our sweet shamrock!
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you blast “Sweet Child O’ Mine” at full volume and think of Shannon.
