Robert Steven Thompson, 63, of Kunkletown, died Friday, October, 9, 2015, at Brookmont Healthcare Center, Effort, while under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice.
Born in Winchseter, Virginia, he was the son of Edith Cobbett Thompson and the late James Thompson. Also surviving are two daughters Christina Steinke and husband Neill, Jessica Vogel; brothers James Thompson and wife Nancy, Ernest Thompson and wife Elaine, Russel Thompson and wife Cathy; six grandchildren Amanda and Joshua Steinke, Erica, Emily and Elissa Vogel and Tyler Snow, three nieces and four nephews and their families. And many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to family and friends for their generosity, love and support through this very difficult time.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 19th at 6:30pm in the Kunkletown Pub, 591 Kunkletown Rd., Kunkletown, Pa 18058 to be hosted by a very dear friend Gretchen Gannon Pettit.
