Norma Lynn (Currie) Goel, 78, passed away on December 31, 2017. She was born in Houlton, Maine.

She is preceded by her parents Charlotte (Moir) Currie and Clayton Mooers Currie. She is survived by her sister Carol (Currie) Schultz of Florida, her children Alok & (Danielle) Goel, Nandita Goel, Neha & (Eric) Stowe. Norma adored her role as Grammie to William Stowe and Maya Goel.

In 2000 she began her second career in social work at a basic needs outreach program sponsored by University United Methodist Church.

Norma loved her home at Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks, her dogs, traveling, following Syracuse University basketball, and more than anything, her family.
A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, February 3rd, at Freedom Village Brandywine, located at 15 Freedom Blvd, West Brandywine, PA, with Reverend Jamie Kaufman officiating.
