MaryGrace Colancecco, born in Philadelphia on August 4, 1936, left us peacefully at home on February 17, 2022. She resided at her son’s Pennsburg residence for the past 17 years. The eldest daughter of 8 siblings (Pasquale, Loretta, Marie, Linda, Arthur, and preceded in death by Caesar, Richard, and Anthony) mother to 3 sons (Rudy, Carl [Grace], Ken [Tammy]), grandmother of 5 (Bill, Amber [Matt], Brent, Alyssa, Nick) and great-grandmother of 4 (Millie, Maggie, Zoey, Vincenzo).
MaryGrace was a retired hair stylist, and in her later years enjoyed Italian cooking, painting, music, reading and watching television. A high light was going to Ellis Island and researching her family’s passage and immigration from Italy.
Throughout life, known for being very strong willed, outspoken, and gifted the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, she will be remembered most of all for her love of family, friends, and dog Daisy.
