Mary Ellen Modlesky, 79 of Kingston, passed away Thursday morning at Edenbrook 2nd Ave.
She was the Daughter of the late Edward Vanderpool and Eliza Johnson. Prior to retirement she worked in various factories. She loved to knit for her family and friends, and had a deep love of Chuck Norris as the Texas Ranger.
Surviving are a daughter Tammy Malinosky; sons Michael and Steven Counterman, sister Carol Place, Gladys Ringler; a brother Walter Vanderpool Jr.; grandchildren Crystal Govens, Alicia Govens, Timothy Govens Jr. (III), Michael Counterman Jr., Jordan Latini, Zachary Counterman, Darren Counterman, Stephen Counterman, Patrick Counterman; great grandchildren Donnell Dukes Jr., Julia Govens, Alicia Govens, Autumn Govens, Forrest Counterman, Tristen Counterman, Kaitlynn Counterman, Kale Counterman, Natalie Counterman, Abigail Counterman, Autumn Counterman.
She was preceded in death by a beloved still born infant daughter, a sister Betty Jane Miller, and a brother John Vanderpool.
