John L. Kohl Jr.

John L. Kohl Jr, 75 of Aldan was called to rest on Weds, March 15, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Born April 25, 1941 to the late John and Catherine Kohl. He was the beloved husband to the late Margaret (nee Reese) Kohl. For the past 12 years, survived by his wife Joyce (nee Eckman) Kohl. Loving father to John, Michael, Robert, the late James, Stephen, Brian, and Lindsey (nee Kohl) White. Stepfather to Michele (nee Giambuzzi) Laffey and Phillip Giambuzzi. Also survived by his twelve grandchildren. Proud Paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne of the US Army. During his lifetime he enjoyed many hobbies including, carpentry, poker, fishing, and photography. Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, March 24, 2017, from 9:30-10:45am at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike Norwood, Pa. followed by his memorial service at 11:00am. Burial will take place 12:15pm at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill
