James Wojtowicz, of Salem Township, passed away at home, Saturday, April 10, 2021. He is the husband of Victoria Machica Wojtowicz. The couple was married 54 years.
Born in Hpoko, Hawaii he was the son of the late Stephen and Margaret Rios Wojtowicz. He served with the United States Army and later Work for the United States Postal Service.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter Michelle Wojtowicz Gardas and husband Bryan, Moscow; a son George Wojtowicz and wife Elizabeth, Seattle, WA; siblings Patricia Hearn husband William-NC, Thomas Wojtowicz wife Gloria –HI, Stephen Wojtowicz wife Marga –HI, Katherine Richardson husband Melvin-NC; grandchildren Kāwika Keli’inui Wojtowicz, James Ikaika Wojtowicz, Kaleo Kanekūhanohano Wojtowicz, Marie Gardas Nardone and husband Frank.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family and have been entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home & Pennsylvania Cremation Services, LLC, Scranton.

I am so sorry for your loss, he was a great man and loved by many. He always loved having family around. Every time I came over he always asked for help with his new electronic device he got, always made me laugh when he said it’s too complicated.
