Gerald Francis Hart, 46, of Throop, died Tuesday at home.
Born in Scranton, son of Francis Rodney Hart, Throop, and the late Gerald Thomas Hart Sr., he was a 1988 graduate of Mid Valley High School. He was employed at the former Casket Shells Inc. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing the most.
Also surviving are a daughter, Danyel Hart; two sons, Gerald Robert and Thomas Hart; grandchildren, Anthony, Savannah, Chloe and Coltyn; a brother, James; his companion, Rose Gutknecht; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church/Blessed Sacrament Parish, 215 Rebecca St., Throop.
