
Diana Lea (Welch) Parrett, 70, of Loganton, PA passed away January 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born November 5, 1954, Diana was raised in Woolrich by her late parents, Edwin and Dora (Hafer) Welch. Diana was a devoted mother to her daughter Angelic (Jason) Hardy of Mill Hall, PA and the late Todd Parrett; grandchildren: Jaxon and Sophia Hardy.
Diana was preceded in death by her late brother Edwin (Judy) Welch, sister Rose (Bill) Sellers and niece, Michelle Welch. She is survived by her siblings William “Bill” Welch, Dennis (Kim) Welch, Richard “Rick” Welch, Star (Jim) Poorman, and Daniel (Elaina) Welch. Nieces/nephews: Rob, Ed, Jennifer, Denise, Holly, Jamie, Brock, Barbie, and Krystal.
Surviving is her companion David Baney, Sr., of Loganton, PA along with his children David (Danielle) Baney, Jr., Brandon (Wilma) Baney, and Drew (Mandy) Baney. Grandchildren: Gavin, Kadin, Brittany, Chase, and Brandi Baney. Great grandchildren: Brody and Declan.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend! She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends, and traveling as often as possible. She even traveled to Mexico, where she climbed a pyramid, swam with dolphins, and explored the Aztec ruins. She enjoyed square dancing, fencing and Broadway shows while she lived in New Jersey. During her retirement, she found joy attending the Loganton Wesleyan Church and the Sit to Be Fit ladies from Be One Fitness Center. Diana will be missed by all who knew her.
Diana was a 1972 graduate of Lock Haven High School, and she was a graduate of South Hills Business School in State College, PA. She retired as an Assistant Director of Medical Records from Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11:00AM at Loganton Wesleyn Church, 4972 Long Run Rd, Loganton, PA 17747 with Pastor Bradley Strange officiating. Memorial contributions in Diana’s name may be made to Loganton Wesleyan Church.
