Dennis Patrick Castellano, 62, died at home Thursday, June 16, 2016, with his family by his side.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Michael A. Castellano and the late Catherine Castellano. Dennis graduated from South Catholic High School in 1972 and the University of New Haven, Conn., in 1976. He worked for PPL for 30 years and retired in 2013.
In addition to his father, Dennis is survived by his wife of 39 years, Megan, and four children: son, Dennis and wife, Jessica, and grandchildren Mikey and Morgan; daughters, Nora and husband, Evan, and grandchildren, Tommy and Grace; Caitlin and husband, Simon, and grandchildren, Charlie and Henry; Abbey and husband, Nathan, and grandchildren, Peter and Danny. Dennis is also survived by his two brothers, Michael and Marty and wife, Dana.
Dennis was a devoted family man and very proud of his children. He was a great cook and loved to prepare wonderful meals for friends and family. He loved English bulldogs and had many over the years. A private family celebration of his life was held over the weekend.
It is the family’s wish that those who knew and loved Dennis will take a moment to revisit fond memories of their time with him.
