CRAIG HENDRICKSON
April 30, 1971 – February 3, 2025
Craig was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the son of Dale and the late Alison Hendrickson, and the stepson of Theresa Hendrickson. He was the brother of the late Christy Hendrickson and uncle of her son, Alex Garcia, and the stepbrother of Fred and Robert Danker.
Craig was the father of Alison, Marisa, Kyle and Anthony. He was the grandfather of Alison’s daughter, Alexis, and Marisa and Salman Shafi’s children, Samiya, Aydan and Amina.
Craig loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He had been a firefighter until he damaged his lungs running into a fire without his gear to search for survivors, a security guard at night and the owner of a construction company after working in the industry for many years. He loved his children deeply and would take them to Pennsylvania to swim in the lakes and watch the stars in the sky at night that were not visible in New York. Craig had a great sense of humor, always making his loved ones laugh.
Craig was a kind and loving man who believed in God. He will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts. We will love him and cherish the memories we have shared.
Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York.

While we only knew Craig for a short time- didn’t even know his last name- we appreciated the kindness he showed and real concern for my mom’s well-being. Most people don’t go out of their way to offer their time to help others, especially those just met. We will remember Craig for this, as well as his heart warming love for his beautiful dog, Marlowe.
