William Scott Barley

William Scott Barley (Scotty) was born August 18, 1949. He has been granted his wings to heaven on August 2, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born In Norfolk, Virginia. Raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He then attended the public schools and work different jobs along the way. He is predeceased by his Father William Scott Barley Sr., Mother Thelma M Barley (Clark), Brothers Van Barley, Wayne Dickerson and Earl Barley and nephew Jimmy Tolbert Jr. He leave his fond memories with his living siblings whom are Patricia Barley (Tolbert), Joseph 

(Joe) Barley, Jean Barley , Robert (Bobby) Barley and Jennifer (Renee) Barley.  His 4 Children Tracey Williams, Velena Hosendorf (Williams) Husband Maurice Hosendorf, Jerome Ellis and his wife Cheney Ellis and Priscilla (PG) Ellis. 13 Grand Children and 10 Great Grandchildren and 1 Aunt, Host of cousins, nieces, nephews. And Great nieces and nephews. He has resided Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. While in Pennsylvania he met his wife Delores Barley and married in 2004. My father was also known as Pop-Pop was very outgoing, Kind, Lovable and a fun person to be around. You would know when he was is your presence with his laugh and contagious smile that went a long way. I remember his favorite saying. “Come here girl and give your daddy some sugar”! That there always made me feel loved. We love you forever. You’ll be truly missed! RIP
