William C. “Pete” Eilber, 58, of Thornhurst, died Tuesday, December 31 at home. He was the husband of Donna (Howard) Eilber. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Mildred (Stettler) Eilber and the late William Eilber. Pete graduated from Pocono Mountain High School in 1974 and was the owner of E & B Interiors. Pete was a die hard Oakland Raiders fan, enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR and loved riding and racing motorcycles with his son Ethan. He was known to be able to fix anything that was broken, and he took great pride in his work. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. In addition to his wife and mother, Pete is survived by his daughters: Melissa Loch & her husband Donald, Christina Olaes & her husband Romeo, Brittany Eilber and Brooke Decker & her husband Andrew; his son: Ethan Eilber; his brother: Timothy Eilber and his wife Dawn; his grandchildren: William, Alyssa, Kaylee, Hunter, Paige and James; his nephew Brian and niece Elisha. Funeral services will be private and arrangements are entrusted to Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, honored provider for The Pennsylvania Cremation Society.
