Theresa Ann Scott, 77, of Harding, formerly of Yatesville, passed into her heavenly home on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Born in Pittston on January 21, 1946, Theresa was a daughter of the late Natizeo and Lillian (Chickelletti) Tozzi.
Theresa was a faithful woman who loved the Lord and her family. Theresa enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, gallivanting with her sisters, making homemade macaroni, and her loyal dog, Dixie.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by sister, Lillian Murphy; nephew, James Himlin; and nieces, Kelly Himlin and Doreen Murphy.
Theresa is survived by her children, Waylon Scott and wife, Brigid, Harding; Richard Swartz, Dupont; David Swartz, Wilkes Barre; Ronald Scott Jr., Pittston; sisters, Antoinette Himlin, Yatesville; Gloria Tozzi, Jenkins; brother, Vincent Tozzi, and wife, Mary Lou, Yatesville; grandchildren, Braeden, Sean, Jacob, Abby, Brooklynn, Peyton, Christine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Maple Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Corey Brian Strauch FH & PA Cremation Services, and caregiver, Mary Beth Shovlin, for their compassionate care.
A memorial service will be held in the near future.
