We regret to inform you of the passing of Michael “Mike” McMaster, aged 66, of Honesdale, Pennsylvania. He peacefully departed on February 18, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Born on November 6, 1957, in Philadelphia, PA, Michael was the beloved son of the late Charles T. and Agnes E. (Crossley) McMaster.
Michael was one of five brothers, including Charles Thompson of Sunset Beach, NC, Joseph Edward (deceased), Robert Lawrence (deceased), and James Joseph of Perkasie, PA.
Professionally, Mike was a man of many interests and skills, having worked in social services for several years before transitioning into construction. Before becoming a commercial painter, he worked as a roofer and carpenter.
In his private life, Mike was a personable man who enjoyed a friendly conversation over a cocktail or two, especially if the discussion had to do with trivia related to music or movies from the fifties through the seventies.
Mike is survived by his former wife, Daphne, and three sons: Michael of Lansdale, PA; Ryan of Easton, PA; and Devin of Lansdale, PA. He leaves behind one grandchild, Owen.
In addition to his immediate family, Michael wished to extend appreciation to his dear friend (and honorary daughter) Holly, her husband Joe, and daughter Alex for their unwavering love, companionship, and support throughout the years.
