Helen J Kisielewski

In Memorial

Helen J. Kisielewski, 87, of Hudson entered into eternal rest Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg. She was born April 24, 1926, in Wilkes-Barre, daughter of the late Benjamin and Lucy Petroski Broski. Helen was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Plains Township, and the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hudson. She was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, whose committment to spiritual growth in the family, a sacred duty to their children, providing a source of encouragement and support to all mothers and children, is a lifetime membership. She retired from the Zayre Corp. and completed 20 years as a foster grandparent with (FGP) Luzerne County Head Start, Beekman Center, Wilkes-Barre. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kisielewski; a son, James Kisielewski; and a sister, Virginia Broski Demish. She is survived by her sister, Henrietta Broski Fagula and husband, Tom, Hudson; daughter, Carol and her husband, Gene Morio, Hershey; her son, Gerald and his wife, Donna Ballestrini Kisielewski, Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Jason Morio and wife, Elaine, Bradley Morio, Kristin Leiss and husband, Peter, and Arielle Ballestrini; and great-grandchildren, Braydon Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Nina Leiss, Payge Miller, Karly Morio, James Morio and Brandon Morio, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hudson Road, Plains Township. The Pennsylvania Cremation Society is providing the cremation service. Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Center for Cancer Wellness, 190 Welles St., Suite 120, Forty Fort, PA 18704.
