Wilma Thomas

Wilma Thomas, an 82-year-old resident of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 20th. She is survived by the memory of her beloved husband, Lloyd Thomas, with whom she shared 20 wonderful years. Wilma’s kindness and generosity inspired everyone around her, and though she may have struggled to express her emotions, her love for others was undeniable.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the loving daughter of the late William Fink and Gertrude Allison Fink, and her memory will be cherished through her passions for Bingo, baking, crafting, and jewelry-making, as well as her dedicated work at Kmart.

The family is survived by daughters Elizabeth Zirpoli, Brenda Reeves, Michalle Framo and husband Fred, Jennifer Sesar and husband Joe, Debra Eschbach; sons Carl Eschbach and wife Jamie, Richard Eschbach and wife Toni, Kenneth Eschbach and wife Jeannie, stepson Brian Thomas, sisters Margery Horner, Betty Ann Estelow, brothers William Fink, Upton Fink, as well as 25 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a loving extended family.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Anna May Novak and Karen Solarczyk, and her son-in-law Rick Zirpoli, who will all be deeply missed.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Brenda and Chantell for their selfless care and love for Wilma. They would also like to thank the Compassionate Care Hospice team, Kathy, Donna, Davine, and Brittany, for their exceptional care and compassion, treating their mother with kindness and dignity.

A celebration of life will be held Monday July 7, 2025 at 1pm in St. Bartholomew Church 1746 S. Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08610
