Carl Michael Hafler “Chucky”, 57, of Jefferson Township, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born in Honesdale he was the son of George and Geraldine Miller Hafler. Earning a degree in computer technology he spent most of his working life with computer systems. With a deep love for God and His Christian faith he also worked in church related activities with his church. Additionally, Chuck was often found volunteering in charity work whether it be working in a food pantry or serving hot meals to those in need.
In his free time, you often found Carl reading from his large book collection or spending time with his beloved dogs, who he considered as his children. Chuck also enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing games.
Surviving are a brother Stvan Hafler and wife Rachel, brother Gerald Hafler, Godsons Tim Grayson and Matthew Summo , many cousins , and former spouse Heather Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by parents George and Geraldine,along with multiple Aunts Uncles and cousins
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at 4pm , at the Light of Christ Church 2067 Moosic Lake Road, Mount Cobb PA 18436.

Chucky was a part of our church family here at Light of Christ. You would find him helping out with games at VBS or teaching our youth. He is finally with Jesus in a new heavenly body. R.I.P
