Georgiana Oney-Cornett, 72, of Jefferson Twp., Passed away at home Monday, November 25, 2019. She is the wife of John Cornett, Jefferson Twp.
Born in East Stroudsburg she was the daughter of the late George Hines and Betty Vanwhy. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Surviving are daughters Jami Clark and Megan Oney, a son Joe Oney, Sisters Virginia Hardy, Wilma Transue, Sharon Bogart, and Sara Borgart; a brother James Hines; grandchildren Bria Walker, Camden Oney, Josephine Oney, Danielle Oney and Joshua Oney; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son James Oney, a brother William Hines, a grandson Harley Clark and her first husband Miles “Jim” Oney.
There will be no public services at this time.

I am so sorry about Georgiana passing on. She was a good friend that reached out to everybody. I am going to miss her . She was my coffee buddy. I am praying for you and your family.
My sincere sympathy and condolences to the family. I know Jami as a previous coworker and friend. I’m sure her mom will be welcomed in Heaven by all her family and friends that have preceded her and she will not be alone. She is at peace in God’s loving hands.

Saddened to hear of Georgiana’s passing. Always had great love and respect for her as a nurse and a coworker. Love and healing prayers to the entire family.
