William George Yeisley Jr., 59, of Scranton, passed away at home on June 9, 2022.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, the son of the late William George Yeisley Sr. and Jeanette Thomas Yeisley, he was a graduate of Central Scranton High School, class of 1981. He worked in the area as a general contractor for more than 20 years. He enjoyed collecting model trains, watching history documentaries, automotive restoration and spending time with his dogs.
Surviving are his son, Christopher Yeisley (36), Plymouth; his daughter, Jennifer Yeisley (32), Scranton; a sister, Carol Yeisley (60), Winslow, Ariz.; two brothers, Glenn Yeisley (57), Plymouth; Scott Yeisley (55), Sebring, Fla.; two nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an aunt, Mary; and an uncle, Dan.
The family would like to thank friends and family for their ongoing support.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
