Thomas Paul Rutkowski, 52, a lifelong resident of West Scranton, died Wednesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank P. and Barbara Joan Gilgallon Rutkowski, he attended West Scranton High School and Lackawanna College. Prior to his illness he worked at Cigna, handling their data entry. He loved music and his favorite bands were Kiss and the local band, Militia. He enjoyed WWE wrestling and Eagles football.

Surviving are a sister Donna Martin, Scranton; a brother Frank Rutkowski and wife Joan, Scranton, his ex wife Michelle Wolf, Scranton and his two cats “Peonut” and “Popeye”

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at the home of his brother, Frank Rutkoski, 1017 Paul Ave, Scranton, PA 18510. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 2-4 pm.
