Theresa Violet Holzman of Dingmans Ferry, PA formerly of Bayonne passed away Wednesday (July 6, 2022) at home surrounded by family.

Born in Bayonne, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Stella Zuk Gowlak.  Until her retirement she worked as a nurse’s aide at Bayonne Medical Center.

 Theresa enjoyed baking and cooking for her family as well as watching many old movies, police dramas and Judge Judy.

Surviving are a daughter Mindy Bonica and husband John, of Dingmans Ferry; daughter Lisa Moramarco and her husband Frank in Hillsborough NJ, a son Kenneth Holzman and his partner Tom in Colorado, Greg and his wife Patricia, of Bayonne, NJ; and 2 surviving sisters Anastasia Gowlak and Maryann McGillis in Bayonne

Theresa was preceded in her death by her daughter Amy Holzman

Theresa had 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Jason and Andrew Koniecko, Kristin Teschic, Sarah Bonica and Justin Bonica, Emily and Jared Holzman

She has 4 great grandchildren: Anna Broffman. Nathaniel DeVries, Leah and Lucas Teschic

At Theresa’s request she asked for her family to celebrate her life with a party to honor her at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children Hospital or Humane Society
