Tammy Usher, 59, of Carbondale , passed away peacefully at the hospice facility on July 24, after a courageous battle with multiple health challenges. She can now rest eternally with her best friends, Lisa Hess & Ray Steele who she has missed for many years.
Adopted by Jim and Sandy Slaminko, Tammy faced significant medical issues with remarkable resilience. In her final chapter, she made the brave and loving decision to enter hospice care, allowing her to focus on comfort and time with family.
Tammy is survived by her three children: Carissa, Billy, and Allie Usher; her cherished grandchildren, Madysen and Ayden Usher, and her emotional support grand-puppy, Luna, who all brought her endless joy.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate teams at Allied Hospice and DaVita Dialysis for their dedicated care, support, and kindness during Tammy’s journey.
The family will be remembering and celebrating her life privately.
Tammy’s spirit, strength, and love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
