Susan N. Goebel, 70, of Greentown, PA died Tuesday July, 9, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was the wife of Jonathan Goebel. The couple was married 35 years.
Born in New Orleans, LA she was the daughter of the late Saverio Joseph and Anita Mae Gatti Nicolosi. Susan was a homemaker and previously worked for Panasonic and the New Yorker in Manhattan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including her beloved husband, son and granddaughters. Susan was an avid crafter and enjoyed sewing, decorating, designing, painting and refinishing furniture. Susan loved her dog Belle and was a pet-lover. She was raised in Louisiana and still enjoyed Mardi Gras King Cake every holiday and southern cooking.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son Christopher, sister Jane and Peggy and brother Kenny and grandchildren Jordan, Nova and Neveah.
A memorial service will be held Saturday , July 27, 2019 at 1:00pm in the Faith Baptist Fellowship Church, 1397 Easton Tpk., Lake Ariel, PA 18436
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund for Faith Baptist Church and the address above.
Arrangements and cremation was entrusted to Pennsylvania Cremation Services, LLC, 602 Birch Street, Scranton, PA 18505

I haven’t known her very long but times we did talk she was very nice and she was loved by many may you go from us and be together with the Lord Almighty RIP SUE

As a distant friend to Susan’s family, I witnessed her faith and trust in Jesus Christ and her never failing love for her family. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. My prayer is that each of her family will honor her life by moving forward in each of there lives in exactly what she would have loved to see herself.
