Robert Bannon, 82, of Dunmore, passed away Friday morning at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife was the late Nancy Parinich Bannon. The couple was married 60 years.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Allgood Bannon. He attended Scranton Technical High School and worked at Dunmore Cemetery and St. Joseph’s Center.

Surviving are three daughters, Lori Nolan; Karen Caswell and husband, Robert; and Carolyn Malcom; a brother, John Bannon and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Bryan Bannon, Robert Caswell Jr., Karrissa White, Katlin Caswell, and Matthew Malcom; and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Luke, Rosie Caswell, Aubree White and Zachariah Kopa.

There will be no public services. Arrangements entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral Home, Scranton.
