Myrna Grontis died peacefully at home surrounded by her family,  on February 2,2025.

Myrna was a retired hair stylist and co-owner of Headlines hair salon in Port Jervis, NY. She was 84.

Myrna is survived by her husband Nicholas Grontis of 35 years, daughters Sheri Eccleston, Roxanne Polanis (Jerry), Michele Campbell, Sophia Grontis, Sylvia Grontis Hagan and pre deceased by Lorri Vitiello (Salvatore). One son Nicholas Grontis,Jr. (Daurisys) Sisters Mary Carroll and Diana VanBenschoten. Nephews Jason and Seth VanBenschoten (Nicole)One Great niece and Great nephew. 18 grandchildren , and 19 great grandchildren.

Message from the family read, Grandma was not just the life of the party; She was the heart and soul of every moment. She

brought joy, laughter, and effortless elegance that was all her own. She made everyone feel loved and welcomed. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience.
