Michele L. Strausser, 45, a longtime resident of Covington Twp., died Sunday afternoon in the Commonwealth Hospice In patient unit at Regional Hospital, Scranton, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Scranton the daughter of Donald and Linda Frable Loch of Covington Twp, she was a 1986 graduate of North Pocono High School. She worked for many years at Tobyhanna Army Depot and was a member of the Spring Brook Congregational Church.

Michele loved horse back riding, Arts, drawing, and spending time with her granddaughter. She had a beautiful voice and loved singing in church. She also was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and will be greatly missed by so many.

Serving in addition to her parents are two daughters Shelby Strausser of Simpson, Megan Strausser of Scranton; a son Adam Strausser of Simpson; a sister Dena Loch, Bellingham, WA; three brothers Donald Loch Jr and wife Melissa, Covington Twp., Dale Loch, Spring Brook Twp., Ryan Loch and wife Michelle, Conway, SC; her maternal grandmother Margaret Frable, Moscow, a granddaughter McKenzie Jade Remak and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Arthur Frable, her mother-in-law Janet Strausser and two cousins Shaun and Kenny Frable.

A memorial service will be held for family members, at the Spring Brook Congregational Church, Thursday at 6:00pm, Pastor Doug Littleton will reside. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Honored Provider for the Pennsylvania Cremation Society. Cremation took place at the Strauch Cremation Center and Crematory, Lehigh Twp.
