Michael Mills 81 of Nicholson PA passed away on November 2, 2024 at the Embassy of Scranton Skilled Nursing Facility in the loving care of Serenity Hospice.

Mike was born May 30, 1943 in Dunmore, PA and was the son of the late Leo and Christine (McGraw)Mills. He was preceded in passing by all his siblings and his daughter Roselyn Nowlin.

He is survived by his first wife Dale Sharon Mills and also by his life partner of 34 years Faith Petrillo. Also surviving are his daughter Ronda Goble of Lenox Township and his son Michael J. Nowlin SR (Laura Lee) of Harford as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Amongst his abounding love and pride for his family, he also had a love for the outdoors and spent many years fishing and walking the woods hunting with his son (Michael SR) and his Grandson (Michael JR). He loved to tinker with broken things and had a magic touch of turning any grouping of old lawn mowers and weed eater into a brand-new working item.

He had a love of country music and spent many weekends traveling around with his buddies strumming on his steel guitar.

He had an awesome love for his friends and neighbors that he would spend many a night passing his coffee pot around and around the kitchen table while the jokes and the stories flew.

He will be greatly missed.

There will be a private service for the family at a later date.
