Michael Durkin, 61, of Dunmore, passed away on March 12, 2026, at his home.
Born on May 20, 1964, in Scranton, he was the son of the late Paul Francis Durkin and Arlene Shirley (Heineman) Durkin.
Michael was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was formerly employed by United Gilsonite Laboratories and Eckerd Drug.
He is survived by his sisters, Arlene Verbickas, Linda Fazio, and Diane Ruby (Thomas); his brothers, Gary Durkin (Mary), Robert Durkin, and Kevin Durkin (Mary Ellen); as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy McHale; his brother, Paul Durkin Jr.; his nephews, Jeffery Durkin and Jason McHale; and his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandra Durkin, Lee Fazio, and Donald McHale.
Private arrangements are under the care of the family. There will be no public services.
