Matthew E. Eagle, Whitehall, PA,  37, lost his battle with a rare disease called Dyskeratosis Congenita. He died peacefully Saturday in his home with his family by his side. Matthew was born February 17, 1978, in Allentown, Pa. He was a graduate of William Allen High School. Survivors: Matthew is survived by his Mother, Beverly Eagle; Father, Eric Eagle; Brothers, Richard and Robert Eagle; Sister, Jennifer Smith; Sister-in-law, Stephanie Eagle; Brother-in-law, Jonathan Smith; Nephews, Aidan Eagle, Brennan Eagle, Jonathan Smith Jr., Owen Smith, and Ryan Smith. Services: Private services will be held.
