In Memorial

James John Wooler, of Old Forge passed away unexpectedly, Thursday (5-27-2021) at home with his wife Carol at his side.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Gilmore and Marie Wooler. A proud Army Veteran he joined right after graduating from Roxbury High School, Philadelphia. He had a career in radio a various radio stations through New Jersey and locally. His radio name was Jim Gannon. Upon retirement he enjoyed to read history books, watching the Phillies and spending time with his Labrador “Emily” who followed him everywhere because he carried cookies.

He was a kind, true to his word, gentle man who will be greatly missed. May he get to finish the books he started and not be interrupted by Carol.

Surviving are his wife Carol and Labrador Emily.

In keeping with James’ wishes he liked privacy, so choice cremation and is in Gods eternal home.

Arrangements entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral home and Pennsylvania Cremation Services, Scranton.
