Helen Jean Hess, 86 passed away September 29^th at Lehigh Valley hospital Pocono, East Stroudsburg.

Helen devoted her life as a loving wife mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Budd of Mount Bethel, PA; her daughters Karen Goulet and husband Michael of Dingmans Ferry and Cindy Malachowski, of East Stroudsburg. Helen had three grandsons and seven great –grand children, as well as two sisters.

Helen was the daughter of the late Ockey and Helen Reimer, owners of Ockey’s Hotel in Johnsonville, PA. She was employed 20 years at Hoffman LaRoche.

Helen loved to travel with her husband and had been across the country 8 times. She loved to garden and cook, and always ate the little corner of her baked cakes. She loved to cuddle with her dog Maggie.

She and Budd were married 67 years and her family meant the world to her.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
