My prayers are with you at this difficult time. I know Dave was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and that all of you will sorely miss him. God bless.

Being David’s first cousin I can recall only a few memories from my childhood. On the rare occasion that my family would visit our grandfather for a 4th of July celebrations my recollection of him was that of a kind heart with lots of patience. He set up wiffleball games and participated in the games. I recall him lobbing some nice soft pitches so i could smack the ball hard. What a thrill. On yet on another occasion I recall being at my Grandfathers home where we visited and David was there. He play baseball flipcards with me and even showed me some tricks.

Those fond memories are all i have but his kindness was clear to me even as a child. I wish to tell the family that I am sorry for the loss of such a cool man.
