Beverly Ann Scavazzo, 78, of Dickson City, passed away Wednesday morning at Dunmore Health Care Center.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Frederick Scavazzo and Irene Bernacik, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She worked at former Community Medical Center, Scranton and the former Mercy Hospital, Scranton in the X ray department. She loved to cook, bake a sew.

Surviving are a daughter Cherie Karzenoski Matassa; a son Joseph Karenoski; sisters Marilyn McTiernan, Irene Dierolf; grandchildren Lindsey Florek, Matthew Matassa, Gianna Matassa, Noah Karzenoski; and a daughter in law Rita Kuchta.

She was preceded in death by her ex husband Joseph Karzenoski and step father Edward Bernacik.

Arrangements entrusted to Corey Brian Strauch Funeral home an Pennsylvania Cremation Services, LLC, Scranton.
