Benjamin B. Johnson, III, 94, previously of Allentown, died Monday, July 21 at Fellowship Community in Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Dorothy S. (Frazier) Johnson, who died on July 20, 2013.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Benjamin B. II and Sara (Robbins) Johnson. Benjamin served in U.S. Army during World War II. He graduated from Lafayette College with his degree in electrical engineering and was employed by PP&L as a Senior Project Engineer for 37 years before retiring. Benjamin was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ and PP&L retirees. He was a longtime volunteer at Westminster Village Presbyterian Senior Living Community, was a master wood worker and most importantly, a devoted husband and loving uncle.

Benjamin is survived by his sister: Edith (Johnson) Farr and her husband Stanley of Delaware; 20 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Buswell.

The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers of Fellowship Community, Ascera Care Hospice and Home Instead for the loving care that they provided to Ben.
