April Rosenkrans Holden, 70, of Clarks Summit, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at home.

Born in Scranton daughter of the late Eugene and Hazel Willock Rosenkrans, she was a graduate of West Scranton High School and then went on to earn her nursing degree. She worked with Keystone Community Resources and Bayada Home Health until her retirement.

Surviving are two sons Dennis Jones Jr. and wife Lora, Brelen Holden, and a daughter Brandy Lyons; a sister Sheryl Nye; grandchildren Jeremy Jr (wife Tanazha), Grace, and Logan Lyons, Spencer and Trevor Jones, Austin and Gage Lewis; great grandchildren Malani, Chaston and Maisley Lyons; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by sisters Rosalie Nye, Leandra Mielo, and a brother Gene Rosenkrans.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her niece Kaleen Walsh, Residential Hospice, and Dr. Michael Rogan for the extraordinary care and compassion given to April.

A memorial service will be held Saturday July 18, 2026 at 11am at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 25 Jefferson Ave., Scranton, PA 18510.

The family will receive friends in church beginning at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org
