Shannon Bukoski, the firecracker of Old Forge, PA, left this world far too soon on January 31, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on November 12, 1985, Shannon spent her life spreading joy, love, and a healthy dose of rock ‘n’ roll.
As a Quality Control Analyst by day and a free spirit by night, Shannon had a dynamic personality that drew people to her like a magnet. She loved butterflies and stargazer lillies. Her love for fun was contagious, and her smile could light up a room (just like her Mama’s)!
When she wasn’t working, Shannon could be found devouring books, carving up the slopes on her snowboard, strolling through the park, or headbanging at concerts. And, of course, belting out her favorite Guns N’ Roses tunes at the top of her lungs!
Shannon is survived by her loving family: her mother, Cyndi and stepfather Joe; brothers, Jason, Josh, and Jeremy; nephew, Josh Jr; niece, Kandis; and her fiancé, Kevin. Her furry sidekick, Kaiya, will miss her snuggles and adventures.
As we say goodbye to this beautiful rock-star, we take comfort in the memories we shared with her. Shannon, your love, laughter, and spirit will never be forgotten. Rock on, our sweet shamrock!
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you blast “Sweet Child O’ Mine” at full volume and think of Shannon.
A celebration of life is being planned and will be posted soon.

There aren’t words to express my deepest sympathy. Shannon was a bright star in this ever darkening world. I’ll keep my fond memories of her smiling and always offering a hand or shoulder to lean on. This world was better with Shannon in it. I pray all her family find peace and take comfort knowing you will see her again some day and her spirit will stay with you until then. Rest in the sweetest peace Shannon.
All my love Jo

I was at a loss for words when I found out that my other Shannon and birthday twin left this Earth. Too soon and too young. Every November 12 I will blow my candles out for the both of us. We had so many memories as kids and you were my best friend. I can still hear your laugh and picture your smile. Shine on in heaven sweet girl. I’ll never forget you.

Shannon, we had fun back in the days of Penn foster. We got a long from the jump because of our attitudes and sarcasm. You were also loving, sweet, and over all good person. We lost touch for the most part after we worked together and I’m sorry for that. FLY high and watch over your loved ones. S.I.P. until we meet again.
